Welcome to The Journey Forward, a place built on the foundations of understanding, compassion, and support.
The Journey Forward
"Those who know, just know..."
TJF – The Journey Forward was founded by veteran police members who know what it’s like to carry the weight of life in the service.
We’ve built TJF as a safe space for all current and former emergency services members facing mental health challenges.
It’s not therapy, and it’s not here to replace it—but it is a place where you’ll find support, understanding, conversation, and connection without judgment.
Through shared experiences, community, and meaningful activities, TJF is about breaking the silence and breaking down the stigma around PTSD and mental health. No one should have to go through this alone.
We’ve been there. We’re still here. And you can be here too.
Calendar
The 2026 TJF meeting calendar is now available, with all scheduled meeting dates highlighted.
These meetings are an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and support one another in a safe and understanding environment.
If you would like to attend any of the 2026 meetings, please register your interest so we can plan accordingly and provide any relevant information closer to each date.
Your participation is welcome, and your wellbeing matters.

Join us as we build a community that understands, respects, and uplifts one another—because no one should face the journey alone.
TJF - The Conversation Starter
Every item in our store is more than just merchandise; it’s a conversation starter. Wearing or using our gear isn’t about fashion or making a profit — it’s about signalling that you’re part of something real. A community that understands the unspoken, where those who know, just know.
Each product is designed to spark curiosity, break the silence around mental health, and open up space for connection. All profits go directly back into supporting our members — funding activities, peer support, and practical assistance for those navigating life after service.
